In one example, the antenna is disposed on one of the non-active waveguide substrates, which non-active waveguide substrates are used as encapsulants to protect the waveguide active layer from environmental factors and do not have an active optical function in the waveguide operation. In another example, the antenna is disposed on one of the active waveguide substrate surfaces opposite another active waveguide substrate. As a result, there is a large lee-way available in patterning desired antenna shapes, length, and area on these surfaces using optically transparent, high conductivity materials. The antenna is not subject to some design constraints and compromises.

摘要： A system and method that optimizes transmission control protocol (TCP) flow control without intruding upon TCP's core algorithms. A control module relatively near a sender's local area network (LAN) automatically identifies a packet flow that has become window-limited. After the packet flow has been identified as window-limited, the control module relatively near the sender's LAN and another control module relatively near a receiver's LAN optimize the packet flow by increasing the window size indicated in the receiver's acknowledgment packet. Both control modules operate synchronously to transparently manage the packet flow between the sender and the receiver.

摘要： Eyewear having electrochromic lenses for controlling a light transmissive property/tinting for a user's eye and a camera. The electrochromic lenses have an eye region for controlling light transmission to a user's eye, and a separate camera region for controlling light transmission to a camera. Two or more electrochromic lenses are provided to independently control the tinting for each of the user's eye, and two or more cameras. The electrochromic lenses comprise of multiple lens layers forming a single stack. Each layer has an opening configured to receive a fill material, such as a dye, such that the fill material can have different chemistries. The displays may also have different dye chemistries to allow for different tint ranges (wavelengths of light passed).
