    • The inventors of the present invention desire to provide through at least one embodiment of the present invention, a method of and apparatus for transmitting uplink scheduling information that belongs to an unlicensed band from a network device to a user equipment. Through implementing the embodiments of the present invention, if a user equipment is to perform uplink transmission on an unlicensed band, it has to obtain uplink scheduling information from a network end; however, because strong resource contention might exist on the unlicensed band, if the uplink scheduling information is also transmitted over the unlicensed band, timely transmission of the information cannot be guaranteed. If the uplink scheduling information is transmitted over a licensed band whose resources are more guaranteed, its timely transmission can be assured, and the user equipment can obtain the information required by uplink transmission on the unlicensed band, coexistence of the LTE or LTE-A network with other networks or protocols such as Zigbee or Wi-Fi on the unlicensed band can be more effectively achieved.

    • The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for resource contention based on an access priority, comprising: establishing or re-establishing a user group, by a serving base station, based on an interference environment of respective user equipments within a cell; receiving, by a user equipment, an uplink schedule grant from a serving base station, the uplink schedule grant comprising an access priority of the user equipment on an unlicensed frequency band; configuring, by the user equipment, an uplink frame structure for uplink transmission of the unlicensed frequency band based on the access priority; blind-detecting other reserved signals of other user equipments within a user group on the unlicensed frequency band based on the uplink frame structure; performing channel clearance assessment to the unlicensed frequency band based on the uplink frame structure: if the user equipment fails to blind-detect the other reserved signals and a result of the channel clearance assessment is idle, transmitting a first reserved signal on the unlicensed frequency band and performing uplink data transmission of the user equipment; if the user equipment blind-detects the other reserved signals or a result of the channel clearance assessment is busy, stopping contending for the unlicensed frequency band.

The method according to the present invention takes moving speed of the UE into account to realize the access network discovery and selection function, so as to reasonably select the appropriate access network based on the speed of the UE. Thus, on one hand network offloading and load balancing can be efficiently achieved by using the wireless communication network provided by the WLAN network or the small cell, on the other hand the user experience can also be improved significantly.
