종래의 투명도료는 도막의 경도가 높고 가교밀도가 높아 내화학성이 탁월한 장점이 있으나 반면 유리전이 온도가 높아 날카로운 스크래치에 의한 균열의 복원 한계를 가지고 있다. 이에 본기술은 유리전이온도가 낮은 아크릭수지와 폴리에스터/폴리카보네이트변성폴리올의 선형 사슬(Linear chain)의 탄성효과와 적절한 가교밀도 유지를 통한 도막의 내화학성 및 내스크래치성을 부여하였으며, 힐링 속도(Healing speed)를 조절하게 되었다.
본 발명의 자동차 외장 부품 내스크래치 강화 도료 조성물을 이용하면 98%이상의 높은 광택유지율을 나타내며, 도막의 기본물성도 동시에 만족시켰다.
