The styrene-based thermoplastic resin comprises 5-35 wt% of a core-shell-structured graft copolymer resin which includes a core formed of a rubber polymer and a shell polymerized of an acrylate monomer, styrene monomer, and acrylonitrile-based monomer; and 65-95 wt% of a non-graft copolymer resin including a unit derived from the acrylate-based monomer.

A method for the methacrylate-styrene-perfluoroacrylate terpolymer comprises the steps of: injecting an initiator and a molecular weight modifier in a monomer mixture of methacrylate monomer, styrene monomer and perfluorinated acrylate; and perfluorinated acrylate the monomer mixture in aqueous dispersion and polymerizing them at 70-120 °C for 2-8 hours.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method for ABS resin using coagulated rubber latex by controlling the conditions for preparing coagulated rubber latex and for graft polymerization. The process improves the lowering of fluidity and glossiness when the coagulated latex is applied to ABS resin. It also shortens the total polymerization time. CONSTITUTION: The method of preparation comprises: (1) a first step of pretreating seed synthetic rubber latex by adding negative ion emulsifier and non ionic emulsifier; (2) a second step of pretreating a particle size magnifier by mixing a copolymer latex containing unsaturated acid with ion exchange resin, non ionic emulsifier and electrolyte to be 1-10wt.% of solid content and pH of 5-11; (3) a third step of preparing coagulated rubber latex by adding pretreated particle magnifier to the pretreated seed synthetic rubber latex and controlling pH to 9-11; and (4) a forth step of graft polymerizing the coagulated rubber latex by adding a mixture of acrylonitrile and styrene.
