    • PURPOSE: A semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer micronized complex is provided to improve the efficiency and thermal stability of the device by efficiently protecting the semiconductor nanocrystals by including a polymer that surrounds the semiconductor nanocrystals. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer micronized complex(10) comprises at least one semiconductor nanocrystal(12), and a polymer(14) that surrounds at least one semiconductor nanocrystal. The polymer has at least one functional group that may react with the semiconductor nanocrystal. The semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer micronized complex has a size of 70Mm or less, a standard deviation of 20Mm or less, and an aspect ratio that is greater than 1-10 or less. A manufacturing method of the semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer micronized complex comprises the following steps: (a) the semiconductor nanocrystal is reacted in a polymer solution; and (b) the resulting product is filtered, dried, and cryogenic-milled to obtain the semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer micronized complex.
