    • Disclosed herein is system and method for sealed bid auctions through the implementation of computer device, wherein an auction includes sealed bids, assigning random IDs for undisclosed real IDs, and obtaining double confirmation from both bidders and vendors. Vendors may choose to have a reserve price such as an open reserve price and a conditional hidden reserve price. The system generates random bidder IDs and allows the bidders to self- determine into two different bidding categories, where one bidding category pays the full winning bid amount and the other bidding category purchases a "price-protection policy" that allows the recalculation of the final winning bid amount based on the "price-protection formula", wherein the "price-protection formula" is calculated as a sum of the "price-protection fee", the second-highest bid amount, and the amount from a pre-determined percentage of a difference between the highest bid amount and a second-highest bid amount.

    • Embodiments herein provide a system and method for mapping traffic accidents, storing historical and real-time accidents data, other accidents related information. The data resides in the central server and implemented for alerting a user about traffic accidents based on location and type of category. The system and method comprises storing a plurality of historical and real-time traffic accidents for different categories of the users in a unified database. It further stores a plurality of other traffic accident related information, comprising reasons, time and data, category of the accident participants, further comprising non-commercial vehicles or commercial vehicles users, motorcyclists, bicyclists or pedestrians. The system and method uses an analysis mechanism to search and analyze historical or real-time traffic accidents data based on the category the user belongs to specific geocoded location and display the analyzed advisory notification on the basis of the user's location.

    • A microprocessor is used to control various components of a carpet cleaning machine to improve its functionality. In various aspects of the invention, the microprocessor is software controlled, and can provide sequential operating instructions to the operator, enforce start-up and shut down sequences, store an electronic record of operating parameters for future use, provide auto- and remote diagnostics, and provide remote control. In another aspect of the invention the microprocessor can affect the operation of the entire system by dynamically controlling the speed of the motor. In another aspect of the invention, a more effective muffler can be attached to the exhaust of the motor, thereby greatly reducing the noise level. In still other aspects of the invention, the microprocessor can operate an ignition kill switch to the motor, solenoid and/or clutch controls for the fluid and air pumps, an energy cutoff switch for the heater, and software updates via modem.

In still other aspects of the invention, the microprocessor can operate an ignition kill switch (172) to the motor, solenoid and/or clutch controls for the fluid and air pumps (310, 210) an energy cutoff switch for the heater (340), and software updates via modem.
