摘要： There is disclosed a nutsch filter having blades fitted to a central, vertically positioned hollow shaft by a hollow arm, the blades having a plough-like cutting edge and a spatula-like bottom surface acting in the opposite movement direction. A discharge pipe, arranged concentrically to the hollow shaft, is axially displaceable. The discharge pipe is moved upwards against a cover for sealing the filter casing. The filtration or resuspension or drying of the filter cake takes place in this position. In order to discharge the compressed filter cake, the upper edge of the discharge pipe is set by the blades to the level of the paring or skimming process. Paring of the filter cake and conveying of the pared mass into the central discharge pipe opening takes place in a single operation by means of the blades. On drying, hot air or a hot fluid is passed through the cavities of the arm as well as the parts connected thereto.

摘要： To produce a coating spreader bar (1), for the paper making industry, the two ends (2,4) are supported (3,5) at a frame (10) for one end (2) to be rotated. The bar (1) is drawn during coating, to give a stretch of 0.2-0.001%. The coated bar (1) is held on a straight line during coating. Tension is applied to one end (4) of the bar while the other end is fixed. The coating is with a hot ceramic material, sprayed on to the bar. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus where a pull force is exerted (15,16) on one end (4) of the bar (1), while the other end (2) is fixed, using pulling pistons (16) at the frame (10). The pulling action is applied while the bar (1) is rotated by a motor (6) and a hot spray (12) of ceramic coating is directed at the bar (1). The bar (1) is centered and held by a fluid or mechanical magnetic bearing. Shroudings, of adjustable and angled straight masks, define the section of the bar (1) to be coated by the hot sprays. A cooling system is at the opposite side of the bar (1) to the hot sprays, using sputtering jets to give streams of CO2. A trolley (13) carries a plasma torch (12), to apply the hot ceramic coating, moving along the length of the bar (1).

摘要： Described is filter matting (20) for reversible-flow filter, the matting having layers with decreasing mesh size disposed on a rigid base (21). The matting layers are joined to each other and to the base preferably by means of sintered joints and hence braced with respect to each other. Particularly preferred is the use of such filter matting in the operation of a pressure filter which can be fitted with equipment for automatically removing the filter cake. Because of the rigid nature of the filter matting, a reverse flow can be established using a liquid or gaseous flushing agent to detach the filter cake rapidly and completely, without the filter matting being distorted or torn open. Any residual layer of filter cake is removed by using a swirling flow. The use of heated gaseous flushing agent enables the filter cake residues to be dried more rapidly.

摘要： An industrial filtering apparatus in which the filter cake can be removed automatically by scraping layers of solid from the cake with paring devices which are associated with screw conveyors for transporting the solid to the center of the housing and depositing it in a removal pipe. The mouth of the removal pipe through which the cake falls is completely unobstructed by structural members. The paring devices can also be used in a different mode to smooth out cracks and compact the cake. There is also an independent revolving device for breaking up the cake which can be used in conjunction with a sprinkler head to ensure particularly intensive and intimate washing and slurrying of the cake. The paring device, its associated screw conveyors and the removal pipe can be raised and lowered, as can the device for breaking up the cake, thus making adjustment to any filter cake thickness possible.
