    • PURPOSE:To surely perform electrolytic protection of a duct or pipe connected to an iron reinforcing bar in a reinforced concrete structure by enclosing most of the region of the structure kept in contact with earth or water with electrifiers for vanishing macro-cells and by supplying electric current to the entire region kept in contact with earth or water. CONSTITUTION:In order to perform electrolytic protection of a duct or pipe 1 connected to an iron reinforcing bar 5 in a reinforced concrete structure 4, many electrifiers 2 for vanishing macro-cells are arranged so that most of the region of the structure 4 kept in contact with earth or water is enclosed with the electrifiers 2. An electrifying anode 13 is then placed so that the duct or pipe 1 and the bar 5 act as a counter electrode and electric current 20 for electrolytic protection is supplied to the entire region of the structure 4 kept in contact with earth or water. Macro-cell voltage Ec is minimized, contact resistance Rc is relatively increased and the dispersion of the electric current 20 is prevented to inhibit the corrosion of the duct or pipe 1.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the protective potential approximate to the true value of an object to be electrolytically protected by attaching a probe consisting of a small leaf of the material equiv. to the material of the object to be electrolytically protected and an electrical insulating material to said object and interrupting the connection between both. CONSTITUTION:Protective current 5 is passed between a buried and coated pipe 1 and an underground energizing electrode 4 from an electrolytic protective power supply device 3 to protect a holiday 6 of the coated pipe 1. The probe 7 consisting of the small leaf consisting of substantially the same material as the material of the coated pipe 1 and the electrical insulating material is stuck to the coated pipe 1 by an adhesive agent 15 in such a manner that the surface of the small leaf is in parallel with the surface of the coated pipe 1 and faces the same direction. The connection of the probe 7 and the coated pipe 1 is thereafter interrupted by an interrupter 13 and the potential difference between the probe 7 and a reference electrode 8 is read by a voltmeter 10. The protective current 5 of the holiday 6 and the probe current 5' are thereby maintained under nearly the same conditions and the protective potential approximate to the true protective potential is detected.

    • PURPOSE: To allow a much significant effect to be shown as compared with a conventional method by surely holding plural metallic bodies in a superimposed state by adhesion so that electric conduction is ensured in the superimposing direction.
      CONSTITUTION: An electrically conductive adhesive 11 is applied to both sides of foil 12 of a metal such as stainless steel, Al, Cu or Zn, and the adhesive 11 is coated with strippable paper 10 as a protector. A part of the bottom plate 9 of a seawater storage tank corresponding to the metallic foil 12 is polished, and the foil 12 is adhered to the polished part of the plate 9 with the adhesive 11 after stripping the paper 10. A corrosion preventing zinc plate 1 similar in shape to the foil 12 is then adhered to the foil 12 with the adhesive 11.
