The PDA includes a reception unit for perceiving a broadcast signal including program information, a communication unit for communicating with the recording and reproduction apparatus, which records/reproduces a broadcast signal, a display unit for displaying the program information and video information included in the broadcast signal, a storage unit for storing viewing history of a received and displayed video signal, and an operation unit for operating viewing in the apparatus. Based on viewing history stored in the storage unit, an order signal is sent to the recording and reproduction apparatus via the communication unit to order reproduction of information relating to the viewing history from among information stored in the recording and reproduction apparatus.

摘要： A short-distance radio communication in a steady situation and a long-distance radio communication in an unsteady situation are dynamically switched in a radio communication network, and a steady communication and an unsteady communication are realized through the same radio communication network without affecting the respective communication qualities. A radio communication network system includes radio terminals that enable a multihop communication, and a radio base station. The radio base station and the radio terminals communicate with each other by at least two kinds of transmission radio wave powers. The transmission radio wave power is variably controlled according to a measurement data value by sensors of the radio terminals, or a content of data received by a data communication. Also, respective transmission times of the radio terminals, the radio relay station, and the radio base station are determined, and the transmission times do not change even if the transmission radio wave power changes (refer to FIG. 1).

摘要： A mail server and mail terminals are connected through a radio communication network. The mail server makes viral infection decision of if e-mails are infected with computer virus without burdening the mail terminals having poor processing power. The mail terminals are constructed to serve as small-sized mail terminals. When an e-mail arrives at the mail server through the Internet, the mail server decides if the e-mail is infected with virus. The result of the viral infection decision is added as the whole or a part of inspection information within the header of the e-mail. The corresponding mail terminal can detect presence or absence of viral infection on the basis of the inspection information. When the e-mail is infected with virus, the mail terminal can inform a user of the contaminated e-mail by making tone of a buzzer or vibrator different from a normal e-mail.
