摘要： Before reaction completion, a photometer (1, 3) determines hemoglobin level from blood and reagent measured into a chamber (2), storing the value (8). Photometric determination and storage take place repeatedly, before reaction completion. Hemoglobin value is predicted from stored values. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method. Preferred features: A standard reaction curve or reference values for various hemoglobin values are stored, to carry out prediction. Upper and lower limit curves are stored; on their transgression, an informative report is produced. Measurement intervals are 1 second, making up to 15-20 measurements in all. A display shows the predicted course of reaction and/or the predicted hemoglobin value. A transmitter (10), especially wireless, sends the reaction curve and predicted value following completion to a remote receiver.
