    • The present invention relates to a lateral flow assay and system, including a test strip, for detection and quantification of analytes in samples, such as samples containing cells and fluid. In general, according to the present invention, a test strip for a lateral flow assay for detection of at least one analyte in a sample comprises: (1) a chromatographic strip, a sample filter, a fluid-impermeable barrier, and means for providing a mobilizable detectable agent that is capable of binding to the at least one analyte or to the capture agent after capturing the analyte to the chromatographic strip such that the mobilizable detectable agent migrates through the chromatographic strip and contacts sample that has passed through the sample filter and also has migrated through the chromatographic strip. The test strip allows detection with or without quantitation of an analyte in a sample containing whole cells.

    • The invention discloses an image compression method, which comprises: processing the original image by support vector regression to generate the support vector using the pixel coordinates of said original image as the input sample and using the pixel intensity value as the supervisory signal; calculating the regression image according to said support vector; calculating the residual image according to said original image and the regression image; encoding said support vector and said residual image. The invention further discloses an image decompression method corresponding to the above said image compression method. Further, the invention discloses an image compression device and an image decompression device. The invention utilizes the support vector technology for image prediction to reduce the number of parameters used and achieve a very high compression ratio. In addition, the invention uses the vectors of the X-coordinate and Y-coordinate to represent the pixel values of the medical image, which is more stable in medical image compression processing than conventional compression methods based on image pixel gradient prediction, making the compression method of the invention more stable.
