    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably achieve goals DF and the quality of water when the chemical decontamination finishes. SOLUTION: In a method for chemical decontamination where radioactive nuclides are chemically removed from the surface of a metal member that is contaminated with the radioactive nuclides, this method for chemical decontamination is processed by a reductive decontamination process where a reductive decontamination agent composed mainly of an organic acid is used as a decontamination liquid, and by inhibiting radioactive metal ions from leaking from a resin tower during the decomposition of the reductive decontamination agent that is carried out after the completion of the reductive decontamination process. The leak of the radioactive metal ions from the resin tower can be inhibited by appropriately controlling the quantity and time of the water supplied to the resin tower on the basis of the concentration of a reductive decontamination agent, the potential of hydrogen (pH) and the concentration of metal ions in a decontamination liquid in the reductive decontamination process, and a process for decomposing the reductive decontamination agent. This makes it possible to stably achieve goals DF and the standard of water quality when chemical decontamination finishes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the water in the outlet of a resin tower satisfy a drainable quality condition and simultaneously attain the reduction in concentration of a decontaminating agent and the regulation of water level by decomposing a reductive decontaminating agent guided from a part to be intended and passing water to a mix bed resin tower. SOLUTION: In decontamination process, a reactor recirculating pump 3 is started, and the temperature is raised by use of a circulating pump 5 and a heater 6. When the temperature reaches a prescribed temperature (90±5 deg.C), oxalic acid as reductive decontaminating agent any hydrazine as pH regulating agent are injected from a chemical tank 26 to a reactor 1 by use of a chemical injection pump 27. When the oxalic acid concentration reaches a prescribed concentration (0.2%), the chemical injection pump 27 is stopped to end the injection of oxalic acid, and reductive decontamination is performed. The cracked gas generated in a reducing agent decomposing device 16 is separated in a surge tank 17 and returned to the reactor 1 through a degassing line 24. Since most of oxalic acid of the decontaminating solution flowing from the tank 17 is decomposed, the decontaminating solution is cooled to 80 deg.C or lower by a cooler 18 and then guided to a mix bed ion exchange resin 19 to remove the undecomposed oxalic acid, metal ions and the like.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical cleaning method which raises the temperature by recovering heat from cleaning waste fluid, and shortens the extrusion washing process and also lessens the calorific value required for the heating in the next process, by raising the extrusion washing efficiency hereby, and besides can lessen the quantity of cooling water and also can lessen the capacity of storage of waste fluid, by lowering the temperature of the cleaning waste fluid, and can make the cleaning efficient by making the cooling by FDF needless hereby shortening the cleaning time. SOLUTION: Chemical cleaning liquid is led in a boiler 1 through a valve V2 by a pump 2, and it is circulated through valves V3 and V1 so as to perform chemical cleaning, and after finish of cleaning, cleaning water is passed through a valve V5 from a water supply path 7, and it is heated with a heat exchanger 11 and is poured into the boiler, and the cleaning liquid is pushed out for cleaning, and the cleaning waste fluid is cooled with the heat exchanger 11 from a valve V6 and is let flow in a waste fluid tank.
