    • There is provided a multi-carrier communication method capable of preventing lowering of a throughput of another mobile device accompanying allocation of a sub-carrier for a new mobile station device. This multi-carrier communication method can acquire reception quality information for one of the sub-carriers already allocated in an MS (150a) from a BS (100a) and for one of the sub-carriers which can be allocated in the MS (150a) from the BS (100b). According to the reception quality information, a release sub-carrier is selected from the sub-carriers already allocated and a new-allocation sub-carrier is selected from the sub-carriers which can be allocated. The new-allocation sub-carrier has a frequency different from the already-allocated sub-carriers excluding the release sub-carrier. The BS (100a) is instructed to release the selected release sub-carrier and the BS (100b) is instructed to allocate the selected new-allocation sub-carrier in the MS (150a).

    • A technology is disclosed that provides a handover destination specification system and the like capable of reducing signaling load and shortening handover processing time. According to the technology, the handover destination specification system is configured by: a mobile terminal that measures a reception quality of each cell indicating an accessible range formed by a plurality of base stations capable of being connection targets of the mobile terminal, and when the measured reception quality satisfies a predetermined condition, transmits to a connection base station, a first message including identification information of the cell that satisfies the predetermined condition and information on the reception quality of the cell; and the connection base station that transmits to the mobile terminal, a second message including information for detecting unique global identification information of the cell of which the reception quality has been measured, based on the first message. The mobile terminal detects the global identification information of the cell of which the reception quality has been measured based on the second message, checks access permission for the detected cell, and when access permission is confirmed, transmits to the connection base station, a third message including the global identification information of the cell for which access permission is granted.

    • A macrocell base station controls to reduce interference between cells by a downlink signal of the macrocell base station with specific timing, the interference which a downlink signal of a low transmission power cell suffers for a wireless terminal. A low transmission power cell base station decides measurement timing with which the wireless terminal measures reception quality of the low transmission power cell based on information about the specific timing, and sends a setting message including a parameter according to the measurement timing to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal measures reception quality with the measurement timing indicated by the parameter, and when the wireless terminal satisfies a condition for executing an event based on the measured result, the wireless terminal sends a reception quality measurement message including information indicating that the measurement is made with the measurement timing to the low transmission power cell base station.

    • Provided are a base station device and a mobile station device, which can lighten a cell-search processing. The base station device (100) includes a frame constitution unit (130) for forming a frame, in which a pilot symbol multiplied by a base station scrambling code assigned to that device and a plurality of sequences contained in the corresponding sequence set is arranged in at least the head or tail, and a radio transmission unit (155) for sending the formed frame. On the receiving side of the frame, the frame timing can be detected from the position of a pilot symbol contained in that frame. Since the base station scrambling code and the sequence set containing the sequences are made to correspond to each other, candidates can be narrowed to at most the base station scrambling codes of the number of the combinations of the sequences contained in the sequence set, by detecting the sequences multiplied by the pilot symbol, so that the cell search processing can be lightened.
