摘要： There is disclosed a novel composite film prepared by melt extrusion laminating a polymer blend composition comprising a low-crystalline resin of ethylene-butene copolymer and a polyolefin resin having incorporated therein a lubricant and an anti-blocking agent onto surface or surfaces of a uniaxially stretched polypropylene film followed by stretching the laminate film in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which said polypropylene has been stretched and optionally subjecting the resulting film to corona discharge treatment. The composite film thus made provides an excellent packaging material because of its improved antistatic, lubricating and anti-blocking properties in addition to its heat sealability feasible at lower temperatures than prior art materials.

摘要： A sealed container for liquids has a body with >=1 open end surrounded by an edge area of the body and its inner side is coated with a heat-sealing thermoplastics, its seal at the open end has a flange which is similarly coated on the outside and is separated from the rest of the seal by a bend, the flange and the edge of the body are bonded together by fusing the plastic coating. The flange and edge are kept apart, however, at a part of their areas adjacent to the bend in the flange. Container obtd. is completely leak-proof. Prodn. is high and without blister formation.

摘要： 1521583 Web feeding apparatus HONSHU PAPER CO Ltd 13 April 1976 14992/76 Heading B8R An apparatus for feeding a web 12, Fig. 4, provided with spaced registration marks (not shown) to a blank die-cutting machine 11, Fig. 2, at a speed commensurate with the speed of the die cutting cylinders comprises a drive roller 16 driven at a constant speed and provided with a resiliently deformable sleeve 17 and a pressure roller 18 having a rigid surface, the rollers being urged radially relatively to one another to vary the speed of the web fed to the machine. In operation the web marks are scanned by photo-electric cells 49 (through apertures in web guide plate 47) which generate pulses applied to a control device 46. The cutting cylinders are associated with a further pulse generator 45, whose pulses are applied to the control device 46 compared therein and an output signal generated to control the speed of an inching motor 37 which indexes a gear 35 fast with an eccentric shaft 27 on which is mounted the pressure roller 18. Rotation of the eccentric shaft 27 varies the interaxial distance between the rollers 16, 18 and the speed of the web fed to the die-cutting cylinders.
