    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means having a high cost effectiveness and a reliability for reducing influences of direct collision of water and/or ice onto a sensor, an angle of attack, and time response. SOLUTION: A sensor assembly 100 includes: a base 102; pedestals 108 and 110 including a body extending between a leading edge 114 and a trailing edge 116 in a direction of a fluid flow passing through the body, wherein a first edge 118 of the pedestal is coupled to the base and a second edge 120 opposing the first edge; an airfoil 122 extending from the pedestal wherein a leading edge of the airfoil is aligned with the leading edge of the pedestal and extending along a second edge in the direction of the fluid flow; a sensor element 136 separated from the airfoil via a first gap 138 and extending from the a second edge; and a shield 140 at least partially surrounding the sensor element and spaced apart from the airfoil via a second gap 142 defining a fluid flow inlet 144 to the sensor element. SOLUTION: An igniter 40 includes a shell comprising: a base; a tip surface 202; a sidewall 204 extending both the base and the tip surface and surrounding a cavity 206; a shell hole 208 extending from the tip surface 202 to the cavity 206; and a pin 210 embedded in the tip surface 202 and nearly extending in a tangential direction to the shell hole 208. The igniter also includes an electrode 212 arranged in the shell, and the electrode 212 includes an ignition far-end section located in the vicinity of the shell hole 208. The igniter further includes an insulator 216 arranged between the shell and the electrode 212 in the shell, and the insulator 216 includes an insulator hole 218 nearly aligned to the shell hole 208.
