    • PURPOSE: To reduce a repair cost and an exchange cost, by a method wherein a support member is removably coupled to a support body for an absorbing body of which a part of the wall of an ignition chamber consists and an ignition device is arranged at the support member. CONSTITUTION: In a vaporizing type burner 1, a support body 4 for an absorbing body 5 is formed in the shape of a pot and provided with a bottom 6. A part of an ignition chamber 9 consists of an outer peripheral part 8 of a support body 4, and the opposite side to the bottom 6 of the support body 4 is closed by a support member 10 for an ignition device 11, and the support member 10 is removably coupled to the support body 4 and a burner chamber 3. A rodform glow plug 12 and a flame monitoring device 16 is mounted as the ignition device 11 on the support member 10. A seal 17 prevents liquid fuel from outflow to the outside through a gap between the burner chamber 3 and the support body 4. This constitution relieves a problem on a seal and exchanges the ignition device and the flame monitoring device regardless of the support body and irrelevantly exchanges the absorbing body and the support body, and reduces repair and maintenance costs.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a vaporization burner capable of performing a uniform distribution of fuel and heat over an entire absorbent body, and increasing a combustion efficiency at the time of starting in operation, in particular. CONSTITUTION: A vaporization burner 1 for a liquid fuel operating type heater comprises a support 4 protruded into a combustion chamber; an absorbent body 5 arranged at a front side of the support 4 facing the combustion chamber, and to which fuel is supplied from a fuel feeding pipe; an ignition chamber 9 arranged at a rear side of the support 4 and having an ignition device; and a passage arranged at the support 4 and extended from the ignition chamber to the combustion chamber. Then, a porous disk 20 having a through hole and a slot-shaped notch 25 extending from the through hole up to its edge in a region of the passage in the support 4 is mounted between the support 4 and the absorbent body 5, in order to perform a uniform distribution of both fuel and heat over the entire absorbent body 5, and to accomplish an improved combustion performance at the time of starting ignition, in particular.
