摘要： The invention is a human munc13 gene (Hmunc13) and protein from kidney and other cells which has an important role in cell signaling. This gene is regulated by glucose. Hmunc13 contributes to the renal and microvascular complications associated with hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus, through a variety of mechanisms including Hmunc13 linked apoptosis. The invention also includes biologically functional equivalent nucleotide sequences and proteins. The invention also relates to methods of using these nucleic acid sequences and proteins in medical treatments and drug screening.

摘要： Hemoglobin is site-specifically crosslinked into its tetrameric form by reaction with a trifunctional reagent which combines electrostatic effects, steric effects and the presence of functional groups so that two of the functional groups react with specific sites on the hemoglobin whilst the third site is left free for reaction with endogenous nucleophilic compounds. A specific example of such a crosslinking reagent is trimesoyl tris(3,5-dibromosalicylate), TTDS, which effects specific crosslinking between the amino groups of lysine-82 on each respective β sub-unit. While the crosslinking reagent TTDS has three available carboxyl groups for the crosslinking reaction, only two so react, leaving one free carboxyl for reaction with exogenous nucleophiles, e.g. to render the hemoglobin product useful as a carrier for nucleophilic compounds through the body's circulatory system.

摘要： Disclosed are a device and a method for managing a flash memory using a block unit mapping. A mapping information generation unit generates mapping information to be recorded on preliminary areas which are set in the pages for constituting blocks. When a write operation for the blocks is performed, a mapping information recording unit records mapping information, which is generated in preparation for the blocks, on the preliminary areas set in the blocks. In case of a power failure, a mapping information restoration unit restores a map table on the basis of the mapping information recorded on the preliminary areas of the blocks. According to the present invention, an additional write operation for recording the mapping information is eliminated, and a restoration cost is remarkably reduced for power failures, thereby improving the whole performance of a flash memory.

摘要： The present invention relates to a DMB antenna apparatus for a mobile communication terminal, and more particularly to a strap-typed DMB antenna apparatus for a mobile communication terminal capable of receiving DMB signals. The strap-typed DMB antenna apparatus in accordance with the present invention comprises a flexible circuit board folded in an extending direction thereof; an electrically conductive radiator for receiving DMB signals which is printed on one side of the flexible circuit board; and a sliding tab capable of sliding in the extending direction of the folded circuit board, uniting the folded circuit board, wherein a frequency band of the DMB signals received by the radiator is changed by sliding the sliding tab. Accordingly, in accordance with the present invention, there is provided an antenna with an extended electrical length so as to be suitable for a transmission or reception of low frequency signals while keeping the size of the antenna small. Alternatively, in accordance with the present invention, there is provided an antenna apparatus properly adjusting the resonant frequency and bandwidth thereof is provided so as to excellently receive the total DMB channel in a VHF band by extending the electrical length of the antenna even if a received bandwidth is narrow. Further, in accordance with the present invention, there is provided a strap-typed DMB antenna apparatus usually used for a hand strap in addition to a DMB receiving antenna for a mobile communication terminal and thereby the portability and convenience of the DMB antenna is improved.
