    • This invention refers to a waste water purifying plant for a one family house comprising a reaction tank (1) to which waste water is pumped batchwise from a collection tank (2), which reaction tank (1) is provided with means (8, 17, 18) for aerating waste water fed to the reaction tank (1), means (9) for feeding precipitation chemicals to said waste water, and means (19, 20) for removing purified water from the reaction tank (1). The invention is characterized in that the reaction tank (1) is a lightweight structure with a substantially cylindrical mantle manufactured by spirally winding a hollow thermoplastics profile, which reaction tank (1) by means of a hanging floor (5) is divided into an upper dry chamber (6) for necessary process equipment and a lower liquid chamber (7), said reaction chamber (1) being dimensioned for a batchwise purifying process with a liquid chamber (7) holding slightly more than two batches waste water having a liquid depth giving an aeration height of at least two metres.

    • Method of weighting of a plastic pipe with a hollow, air- filled wall, a weighted lightweight pipe with a hollow wall, and a pipeline formed by a plurality of weighted, lightweight pipes which are welded together. According to the method the hollow wall of the pipe is filled with a flowing medium which displaces air and which increases the weight of the pipe and which thereby facilitates submerging of the pipe. The flowing medium is suitably a concrete mix which has delayed hardening and low long-term strength. The concrete mix gives reliable weighting of the pipe without external point loadings. The binder of the mix prevents segregation of the aggregate and the material thereby becomes evenly distributed inside the wall of the pipe.
