    • PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance to an electric power system by delaying the speed of response in a control circuit which operates a regulating valve to close at the time of sudden increase of effective power in a turbine over-speed preventing device so that the closing operation of the regulating valve in response to the sudden fluctuation of electric power can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:An electric power detector 36 is provided in the output side of a generator 16 which is driven by a turbine 14, and the output of this detector is input to a comparator 86 via a high gain amplifier 80, an integrator 82 and an inversion amplifier 84, and then the signal II is compared with the signal I. The open or shut of an over-speed preventing solenoid valve 28 is controlled by driving an auxiliary relay 88 through the output III of the comparator 86. Thus, the over-speed preventing solenoid valve 28 is not excited and does not perform close operation for the increase of output of the generator 16 by setting the time constant of the integrator 82 at a larger value. Accordingly, unnecessary disturbance to an electric power system can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an intercept valve from opening and closing due to an influence of a side flow in parallelly connected turbine generators when a load is interrupted, by parallelly connecting a rapid load decrease detecting relay of each primary and secondary turbine generator. CONSTITUTION:A rapid load decrease detecting relay 3 of a primary turbine generator and a rapid load decrease detecting relay 4 of a secondary turbine generator are parallelly connected. In normal operation, each relay 3, 4 is turned off, further a reheat steam pressure detector 5 is turned on, and a time limit resetting relay 9 is placed in an on-condition. If a load interruption occurs, each relay 3, 4 is turned on, and a rapid closing relay 10 is turned on generating an intercept valve rapid closing signal. Here one of the relays 3, 4 is turned on and off due to a side flow flowing from the turbine generator with output voltage delaying its phase to the other turbine generator, but each relay 3, 4, being parallelly connected, prevents the rapid closing relay 10 from being reset.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the overspeed detective function test and make it safer by attaching testing targets, for function test of a protector, to the turbine shaft in addition to a target of a gear or the like set to the turbine shaft for detecting overspeed. CONSTITUTION:Gears 4 and 13 are set, around the rotating shaft 3 of a turbine 1 directly coupled with a generator 2, as targets for measuring the rotational speed and testing overspeed trip respectively. Close to the gears 4 an 13, magnetic pickups 5 and 14 are set up. The output signals of respective magnetic pickups 5 and 14 are selectively input into F/V transducer 6 through a changeover switch 15. During normal operation, the output voltage Vo of the magnetic pickup 5 and the preset voltage Vt of a trip voltage setting circuit 7 are compared with each other at a comparator 8, and yet, upon function testing, the output voltage Vs of the magnetic pickup 14 and the preset voltage Vt are compared with each other. Every time Vo or Vs exceeds Vt, a trip signal is output on to a turbine protector 9 and display unit 12.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism and system for controlling turbine speed for improving reliability by providing limit setting speed in an intercepting valve control unit to control turbine speed with the intercepting valve opened and closed by a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:Speed error 29 obtained from comparing a turbine speed signal 27 with set speed 28 and integrated acceleration error 34 obtained from comparing an acceleration signal 31 with set acceleration 32 are sent to the input of a circuit 35 for giving a priority to low value and a load setting signal 43 is added to the output signal 42 of said circuit. The added signal is converted to speed signal for a normal control system by the use of a regulator valve setting rate alphacv, while being sent to an electromagnetic valve 56 and an intercepting valve 52 through a hysteresis circuit 55. When the turbine speed is reduced to 101% of rating, the electromagnetic valve 56 is excited to increase speed and when it exceeds 102%, the electromagnetic valve 56 is deenergized to reduce speed so that the rated speed is set by the repetition of said procedures.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the stability of operation by a method wherein when an electric power system is stabilized in case of occurance of troubles, an intercept valve is fully closed at a high speed, in turn a steam adjuster valve is closed to a desired degree of opening, and thereafter controlled in reference to the output of automatic load setting unit. CONSTITUTION:When a trouble occurs in the electric power system and high speed valve control (EVA) operating signal is produced, EVA starting instruction contact points 18 and 27 are turned on and an intercept valve 5 is fully closed at a high speed through a servo valve 16. A steam adjuster valve 2 is closed through a servo valve 25 up to the desired degree of opening alpha of the unit 28 for setting the degree of opening of the steam valve with a relative low rate of variation in speed set by the unit 29 for setting a closing speed of the steam adjuster valve. Upon occurance of EVA, a difference between the output from the automatic load setting unit 32 and an actual load 34 is fed to a load limiter 23 through an integrater 35 and compared with an instruction signal 22 for steam adjuster valve, and the lower signal is fed out to the servo valve 25 as the valve opening degree control signal.
