摘要： A gas turbine engine includes a liner positioned within a compressor section or a turbine section of the gas turbine engine and at least partially defining a core air flowpath through the gas turbine engine. The gas turbine engine also includes a casing at least partially enclosing the liner. Additionally, the gas turbine engine includes a pressure sensor assembly having a body, an extension member, and a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is positioned at least partially within the body and the body is positioned at least partially on an outer side of the casing, the extension member extending from the body through a casing opening in the casing and towards a liner opening in the liner. The extension member defines a continuous sense cavity exposing the pressure sensor to the core air flowpath.

The adapter is cooled principally by compressed air but controlled amounts of water may be injected for additional cooling. An unloading device may be mounted on the ball valve for selectively unloading an engine cylinder during testing.

摘要： Sensor assemblies, comprising one or more sensors for use in high-temperature environments such as an aircraft wing, include a thermally conductive retaining member in thermal communication with either the sensor or the environment surrounding the sensor. A housing assembly placed proximate to, and in thermal communication with, the retaining member defines a fluid passageway. During operation, fluid circulates through the housing to enhance the transfer of heat away from the sensor. Such heat transfer facilitates maintaining a sensor environment within the tolerance range of the sensor, thereby facilitating monitoring of the pressure fluctuation (or other sensor parameter) during operation of the aircraft.
