摘要： A light-emitting, light-rechargeable label for containers and the method of making the label is disclosed. The substrate for the label is made of Polyvinyl Chloride, or PVC. The substrate is printed with a phosphorescent ink to create the desired glow in the dark, light-emitting label. The phosphorescent ink is Strontium based, comes in a powder form and is mixed with a clear UV curable flexographic ink solvent. The PVC sheets are then run through a flexographic printing press to be printed with at least one layer of the phosphorescent ink. The printed sheets are then cut, formed and bonded into label sleeves, which are heat shrunk onto a container or bottle through either a hot air or steam shrink tunnel machine. The finished product is a bottle whose label looks white with a printed image with normal ambient light.

摘要： A steel reinforced rubber plank made from discarded or scrap tires. The sidewalls and bead are removed from a scrap tire. The remaining belt is cut open to form a rubber strip. Next, the rubber strips are buffed to provide a better bonding surface. Then the bonding agents are applied to the treaded side of each rubber strip, each of the two strips are put together tread face to tread face to form a plank, pressed and heated until the two strips are completely vulcanized. The two-ply plank is then profiled into a final product.

摘要： A process for producing a non-woven composite fabric by water-jet entangling. First, at least two webs are formed. These at least two webs include at least one spunbonded web or meltblown web. Then, the at least two webs are consolidated by water-jet entangling into a non-woven composite fabric. Compared to a conventional process using thermal bonding to consolidate webs, since the present invention uses water-jet entangling to consolidate webs, the non-woven composite fabric produced from the present invention has superior softness. In addition, the non-woven composite fabric produced from the present invention can be further processed to produce various non-woven composite fabric products such as disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, panty liners, and artificial leather, all with superior softness.

摘要： A fiber velvet comprising nano-size fibers or nanofibrils attached to micro-size fibers is disclosed. Methods of manufacturing the velvet as well as various uses of the velvet are also described. For example, the fiber velvet can be used as a thermal interface or as an adhesive material. The nanofibrils may be attached to a flat base or membrane, or may be attached to the tip portions of the micro-size or larger diameter fibers. Various attributes of the micro-size fibers and of the nano-size fibers, for example, geometry (e.g. size, length, packing density) material type (e.g. carbon, metal, polymer, or ceramic) and properties (e.g. conductivity, modulus, surface energy, dielectric constant, surface roughness) can be selected depending on the desired attributes of the fiber velvet. The nanofibrils have a diameter of less than about 1 micron, and may advantageously be formed from single walled and/or multi-walled carbon nanotubes.
