摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a relaxation oscillator with improved performance against phase noise error. The phase noise error may be reduced from sources whose power is greater at lower frequencies. To reduce the noise error, the relaxation oscillator may include chopping in the charging current driver; chopping in the trigger level generator; and/or chopping in the currents that feed the cells. A chopped amplifier may be provided to perform chopping of the input signals.

摘要： A multi-stage differential amplifier circuit comprises a preceding stage differential amplifier and a succeeding stage differential amplifier which are direct-coupled in unbalanced configuration. A variation in the DC level at an output of the amplifier circuit due to the temperature drift of a constant current source transistor in the preceding stage differential amplifier is compensated by a bias circuit connected to the base of one of differential transistors in the succeeding stage differential amplifier. The compensation bias circuit includes a current source transistor the base of which is connected, together with the base of the current source transistor in the preceding stage differential amplifier, to a common drive voltage source.

摘要： An amplifier arrangement has a first differential stage with a first transistor pair, a second differential stage with a first and a second transistor pair, each pair having a common source connection coupled to a drain terminal to a respective one of the transistors of the first differential stage. The amplifier arrangement further has a first complementary differential stage with a transistor pair having opposite conductivity type compared to the transistor pair of the first differential stage, and a second complementary differential stage with a first and a second transistor pair of the complementary conductivity type. The first and the second complementary differential stage are connected symmetrically compared to the first and the second differential stage. The transistors of the second complementary differential stage are symmetrically connected to the transistors of the second differential stage such that respective first, second, third and fourth current paths are formed. A pair of output terminals is coupled to the first and the second current path. Gate terminals of the transistors of each of the stages are coupled to a respective pair of input terminals.

摘要： An amplifier 100 has an input 108 for receiving a signal to be amplified and an output 110 for outputting an amplified signal. The amplifier 100 comprises a main amplification stage 102, an auxiliary amplification stage 104 and a controller 106. The main amplification stage 102 comprises a main amplification circuit 200 and the auxiliary amplification stage 104 comprises an auxiliary amplification circuit 202. Each of the main amplification circuit 200 and the auxiliary amplification circuit 202 comprises a p-channel metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) transistor T1, T3 and an n-channel metal oxide semiconductor (NMOS) transistor T2, T4. The PMOS and NMOS transistors T3, T4 of the auxiliary amplification circuit 202 are either identical to the PMOS and NMOS transistors T1, T2 of the main amplification circuit 200 or are scaled down copies of the PMOS and NMOS transistors T1, T2 of the main amplification circuit 200. The auxiliary amplification circuit 202 amplifies the input signal to generate a control signal and the controller 106 controls a function of the amplifier 100 based on the control signal.

摘要： Exemplary embodiments of the disclosure include adaptively generating a bias current for a switched-capacitor circuit. An exemplary apparatus includes a first phase signal and a second phase signal operating at a sampling rate. An asserted time of the first phase signal and an asserted time of the second phase signal are separated by a predefined non-overlap time. The apparatus also includes a switched-capacitor circuit with a plurality of switched capacitors operably coupled to the first phase signal and the second phase signal. An amplifier is operably coupled to the switched-capacitor circuit and has a response time inversely proportional to an adaptive bias current. A bias generator is coupled to the amplifier and operates to modify the adaptive bias current responsive to the asserted time of the first phase signal.

A reference voltage source generates a bias voltage Vb, and supplies it to the non-inverting input terminal. A discharging path includes a discharging resistor and a first switch arranged in series between an output terminal of the reference voltage source and an fixed voltage terminal. A second switch is arranged between the output terminal of the operational amplifier and a node on the discharging path where the electric potential is higher than it is at the discharging resistor.
