摘要： A method, a computer program product and to a data processing installation are provided for investigation of how a technical system which is composed of components can be broken down. Design models of this system and of its components are predetermined. Rays which originate from selected foot points on the surface of the design model are calculated for each component design model. The process determines how many rays which start at the foot point and run in the direction of the predetermined direction vectors meet the design model of at least one other component. Each component is weighted as a function of these numbers. The result is determined that the component with the highest weighting can be removed from the system.

摘要： Systems and methods for production planning in a manufacturing environment are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for production planning includes a first database configured to retain engineering information for a selected article of manufacture, and a second database configured to retain process information for the selected article. A processor is provided that receives a selected portion of the engineering information from the first database and a selected portion of the process information from the second database and combines the selected portions to generate a temporal graphical view of a selected portion of the article.

摘要： The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and a data processing installation for examining a technical system which is assembled from components for its dismantlability. The only information required are construction models of the system and its components. Lines are calculated for every component construction model which start from selected low ends on the surface of the construction model. The inventive method is characterized by determining how many lines which start in the low end and extend in the direction of the direction vector meet the construction model of at least one other component. Depending on the numbers, every component is evaluated. The result of evaluation is that the component with the highest ranking can be removed from the system.

摘要： A system and method relating to an assembly process of a machine is disclosed. The machine may include a plurality of attachments categorized as core or optional. Each attachment may include a plurality of components each categorized the same as the attachment which the component is a part of. The system may comprise a user interface and a controller configured to display machine information. The machine information may include an image of a portion of the machine. Components categorized as core may be visually differentiated from components categorized as optional. The controller may be configured to modify the categorization of a first attachment, change a first process day on which the first attachment is deducted from inventory to a second process day as a result of modifying the categorization, and adjust a need date for the plurality of components of the first attachment based on the change.
