    • An electro-erosion head assembly is formed from a stack of thin laminae 6 of electrically conductive material. Each lamina has narrow extensions from an edge thereof to form electrodes 2. A connector tab 4 extends from the other edge thereof. Each lamina 6 is coated with a thin coating of insuta- tion material except on the connector tab 4 which is tin-lead coated for eventual soldering. The insulated laminae are stacked to form a head assembly and are encapsulated In plastics potting compound 16 which is ground down to expose the end faces of the electrodes. The electrodes 2 are located at the same locations on each lamina 6 so that, when stacked, they form heads comprising columns of electrodes, each capable of forming a spot in the electro-erosion process. The connector tabs4 are spaced from one another at the other edge of the sheets so as to make each connector tab available for a solder connection and thus give the required connection fanout

    • PURPOSE:To take numbers of copies in single reading operation and to perform picture processing freely by heating selectively an insulator layer formed on a photoconductive photoreceptor and forming an insulator image, and developing an electrostatic image which is formed on the basis on the insulator image by using toner particles. CONSTITUTION:A coater 4 forms the insulator layer 12 over the surface of the photoreceptor belt 1 and a thermal head 9 is driven over it to form the positive insulator image on the photoreceptor belt 1. This insulator image is charged electrostatically by a charger 13 and passed right under an exposure device 14 by the movement of the belt 1 and at this time, the electrostatic latent image conforming with the insulator image is formed. A toner image is formed by the electrostatic latent image to form a recording picture on a form 18. Thus, numbers of the same recording pictures of excellent quality are formed and the picture is formed electrically by the thermal head 9, so various picture processing is possible.

In order to decrease metallic lustre by roughening the surface of a metal deposited layer 3 provided on the colored layer 2 a surface roughener like silica, aluminum hydroxide, titanium oxide, etc. is preferred to be mixed with paint for providing a coloring layer. The discharge breakdown area of the medium on which a protective layer 4 is provided by coating thin resin etc. on the metal deposited film 3 is so small that distinct recording is obtained.
