摘要： Sheet material securing fastener (2) has a fork (4) and a keeper (6) to retain sheet material (28). The fork (4) has at least two arm members (8, 10) extending from a junction (12) and spaced apart at a region (14) spaced from the junction (12). At least one of the arm members (8, 10) has an engagement shoulder (20) spaced from the junction (12). The keeper (6) can be inserted into the fork (4) to hold a portion of the sheet material (28) between them. The keeper (6) abuts the engagement shoulder (20) and applies a fastening force to the portion of the sheet material (28) due to the sheet material (28) applying a torsional force to the keeper (6) in response to a tensile force applied to the sheet material (28). The fastening force applied by the keeper (6) to fasten the portion of the sheet material (28) is in proportion to the tensile force which is applied to the sheet material (28). The keeper (6) is further provided with an extension portion (23) positioned exterior of the fork (4) when the keeper (6) is retained in the fork (4). The extension portion (23) is used to move the keeper (6) out of abutment with the engagement shoulder (20) so that the keeper (6) can be removed from the fork (4) to release the sheet material (28).
