    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe checking device which has an excellent bent part passing property of a bent pipe such as an elbow and is suitable for the pipe checking of a sewer pipe etc. including the bent pipe. SOLUTION: The pipe checking device body 20 comprises: an interior body 3 attached to the tip of a long-size cable 2 having flexibility; an inspection part 4 which is provided with an image-pickup part 5 of performing image-pickup disposed on the tip side of the interior body 3 and an illumination part 6 of performing pipe illumination; a rotating exterior body 9 which is provided with a transparent part 9a of covering the inspection part 4 on the tip side and a protruded line helical part 8 over all of the outer periphery of cylindrical wall surface and is rotatably attached to the outer periphery of the interior body 3; and a rotating drive part 10 for the rotating exterior body 9 disposed in the interior body 3. The checking device body 20 is inserted into the sewer pipe having the bent pipe 50, and the back and forth movement of checking device body 20 in the bent pipe 50 is permitted by helical rotation contact motion for the inner wall of the bent pipe of the protruded line helical part 8 accompanied by the rotating drive of the rotating exterior body 9 caused by the rotating drive part 10.     • PURPOSE: A device for measuring a position of a pipe, and a method for measuring the position of the pipe using the same are provided to measure, collect, and analyze the 3-axis position information of a pipe joint by a person who is equipped with measuring equipment and directly entered into the inside of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a position of a pipe comprises a camera unit(100), a 3-axis sensor unit(200), a distance measuring unit, a wearable computer(400), and a GUI(Graphical User Interface)(500). A lighting device is attached to the camera unit and real time video can be recorded by using the camera unit. A tilt sensor and an electric compasses sensor are embedded in the 3-axis sensor unit for measuring a 3 axis while the 3-axis sensor unit is closely adhered to an upper edge inside of the pipe. The distance measuring unit measures by rotating wheels on a floor of the pipe. The wearable computer saves the recorded video and gathers the signals measured by the 3-axis sensor unit and the distance measuring unit and compare-analyzes the collected signals by using a program. The GUI outputs an analysis result of the wearable computer with numeric information on a real time basis. The GUI is manipulated by using a touch screen.
