摘要： A post-processing apparatus which can respectively balance convenience of user using a manual stapling and convenience of user using an online stapling is provided. The finisher includes a stapler for performing predetermined post-processing on a sheet received and a control unit. The finisher also includes a stapler moving motor which moves the stapler to a position where first processing or second processing is performed. In the first processing, the predetermined post-processing is performed on a sheet which is conveyed from an image forming apparatus. In the second processing, the predetermined post-processing is performed on a sheet which is manually inserted.

摘要： A sheet finishing apparatus includes a tray device for sequentially stacking and storing a sheet, a corner support device arranged between a discharge outlet and the tray device for supporting a corner of the sheet, and a finishing device for finishing the sheet on the corner support device. A first support device supports the corner support device to move between an operating position positioned in a sheet conveying path and a retracted position retracted from the operating position. A second support device supports the finishing device. The second support device is formed separately from the first support device and moves the finishing device between an operating position in the sheet conveying path to a retracted position retracted from the operating position. A drive device moves the first support device and the second support device from the operating positions to the retracted positions after finishing the sheet with the finishing device.

The trays are sequentially or randomly moved by the rotary cams and when randomly moved, the apparatus functions as a mailbox in which the sheets are stapled while the trailing edges are supported on the shelf and the sets are moved by pushers from the shelf by pushers so that the trailing end of the sets are finally supported by the tray.
