    • A cartridge accommodates a recording medium etc, and includes an opening and a shutter for opening and closing the opening. The shutter surface is formed with a hole with which an external drive member engages for driving the shutter. An inner side peripheral surface of the hole, upon which at least the drive member impinges when opening and closing the opening, is constructed of a bending portion continuous from the shutter surface. The bending portion can be worked as a continuous surface by punching out a prepared hole so as to leave a portion corresponding to the bending portion and thereafter bending it. A resinous protection layer having a thickness more than 12 &mgr;m is provided on the shutter surface upon which the drive member impinges when engaging with the hole.

    • A disk storage case comprising a main body and a cover body. The main body stores a disk-shaped medium therein and includes a bottom wall having a plurality of hold projections, side walls including extension portions extended therefrom, a front surface wall, and a back surface wall. The cover body includes a top wall, a pair of mutually opposing side walls, and a back surface wall, and the end portions of the pair of side walls of the cover body on the back surface wall side thereof is capable of being pivotally mounted on the extension portions to thereby mount the cover body on the main body in such a manner that the cover body can be opened and closed. The height of the back surface wall of the cover body is set substantially equal to the thickness of the disk storage case when the cover body is closed.

    • A synchronized clock generating apparatus includes a delayed clock generating circuit including a plurality of serially connected delaying elements for generating delayed clock signals delayed successively relative to an incoming basic clock signal. Storage means includes a plurality of storage elements storing therein a predetermined level in response to transitions occurring in associated ones of said basic and delayed clock signals after a trigger signal which is asynchronous with the basic clock signal is applied thereto. A clock selection logic circuit is controlled by the output signal of the storage means for detecting the clock signal transition occurring closest in time to the application of the asynchronous trigger signal, and for selecting a desired one of said clock signals, based on the result of the detection, as a synchronized clock signal output.
