    • The invention relates to chemical products which are suited for use as co-catalysts and which can be obtained by reacting a compound of formula (I), M1R1R2(R3)m with a compound of formula (II), (R4X)q-(G)*(M2R5R6)g. In formula (I), R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, C1–C20 alkyl, C1–C20 alkyl halide, C6–C20 aryl, C6–C20 aryl halide, C7–C40 arylalkyl, C7–C40 arylalkyl halide, C7–C40 alkylaryl or C7–C40 alkylaryl halide; M1 represents an element of the second or third main group of the periodic table of elements, and; m equals 0 or 1, whereby m is equal to 1 when M1 represents an element of the third main group, and m is equal to 0 when M1 represents an element of the second main group. In formula (II), substituents R4X, which contain hetero atoms, is located on a base body G, and: groups R4 are the same or different and represent hydrogen, C1–C20 alkyl, C1–C20 alkyl halide, C6–C20 aryl, C6–C20 aryl halide, C7–C40 arylalkyl, C7–C40 arylalkyl halide, C7–C40 akylaryl or C7–C40 alkylaryl halide; X represents an element of the fourth, fifth or sixth main group of the periodic table of elements; G represents at least bivalent C1–C20 alkylene, C1–C20 alkylene halide, C1–C10 alkylenoxy, C6–C40 arylene, C6–C40 arylene halide, C6–C40 arylenoxy, C7–C40 arylalkylene, C7–C40 arylalkylene halide, C7–C40 alkylarylene, C7–C40 alkylarylene halide; M2 represents an element of the fourth, fifth or sixth main group of the periodic table of elements; R5 and R6, independent of one another, are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, C1–C20 alkyl, C1–C10 alkoxy, C2–C10 alkenyl, C7–C20 arylalkyl, C7–C20 alkylaryl, C6–C10 aryloxy, C1–C10 alkyl halide; q is a whole number ranging from 2 to 100, and; g is a whole number ranging from 1 to 100. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the inventive chemical products, and to their use in catalyst systems for producing polyolefins.
