    • A battery charger for charging a plurality of rechargeable batteries and is provided with temperature sensors for detecting battery temperature. The battery charger compares the battery temperature detected by the temperature sensors and charging stop temperature, and stops charging when the detected temperature becomes greater than the charging stop temperature. The battery charger has a plurality of attachment detecting portions for detecting attachment of the batteries respectively and independently. The number of temperature sensors is less than the maximum number of the batteries that can be attached. The battery charger varies the charging stop temperature for stopping charging in accordance with the battery-attached positions detected by the attachment detecting portions.

    • A control system for an automatic transmission includes a clutch for transmitting the rotation of a fluid transmission unit to a speed change mechanism of a transmission and a hydraulic servo for applying/releasing the clutch. A stop state detector is provided for detecting the stop state of the vehicle. A release control oil pressure changer lowers the oil pressure of the hydraulic servo by a first set pressure when the vehicle stop state is detected. An in-neutral control oil pressure changer raises the oil pressure of the hydraulic servo by a second set pressure, when the difference between the input side RPM and the output side RPM of the fluid transmission unit has not changed, and lowers the same by a third set pressure when the rotational speed difference has changed. The first set pressure is different from the second and third set pressures.

    • A transfer portion connected to the output shaft of a transmission portion has a front planetary gear unit the output element of which is connected to the front wheels and a rear planetary gear unit the output element of which is connected to the rear wheels, the two units being connected to each other by a common element.     • In the device, a pair of transistors includes first and second transistors connected in parallel between a power-supply-line and a power-supply or between a ground-line and a ground-potential. A third transistor is connected between the power-supply-line and the power-supply or between the ground-line and the ground-potential. First to third nodes are gate nodes of the first to third transistors. A first buffer outputs a first control-signal for controlling the first transistor. A second buffer is connected between the first node and the second and third nodes to receive the first control-signal and transmit a second control-signal for controlling the second and third transistors to the second and third nodes in parallel. When power-supplying starts, the second control signal drives the second and third transistors to the conductive-state after the first control-signal controls the first transistor to be driven in an intermediate-state between the conductive-state and a shutoff-state.
