    • A slide door driving system of a motor vehicle comprises an electric power source and a door driving device to move the slide door between a full-open position and a full-close latched position with an aid of electric power from the electric power source. A manual switch is mounted in the motor vehicle. A control circuit is used for controlling the door driving device in accordance with operation of the manual switch. A so-called "permission switch" is connected to the control circuit. The permission switch is turned ON when an ignition switch for an engine of the vehicle is turned ON. The control circuit is provided with a judging circuit which makes an operation of the manual switch operative only when the operation of the manual switch is carried out under a condition wherein the permission switch is kept ON.

    • In a vehicle door having a retractable window pane, there is provided an improved window regulator for moving the window pane between its full-open position and its full-closed position. The window regulator comprises an elongate plate secured to the door, the plate being formed with at least one guide rail which extends obliquely, at least one slider slidably engaged with the guide rail, a carrier secured to the window pane and mounting thereon the slider, so that the movement of the slider along the guide rail induces the movement of the window pane, guide means permitting the window pane to pivot during the movement of the same, a flexible wire connected at a portion thereof to the carrier, so that the movement of the wire induces the movement of the carrier and thus the window pane, and a drive unit mounted to the door for driving the wire.

    • A control unit is configured to carry out a given controlling of an electric motor when a given operation is carried. The given operation is an operation wherein under operation of a closure mechanism, the door is moved in a close direction passing through an operative position of a half-latch switch and then moved back in an open direction at a position just before the half-latch position.     • An electric connector for use with an automotive slide door is shown, which comprises a first connector part adapted to be mounted to a vehicle body and a second connector part adapted to be mounted to the door. The first connector part includes a first nonconducting casing, a first conducting contact pin axially movably received in the first casing, a conducting piece axially movably received in the first casing in front of the first contact pin, and a spring for biasing the conducting piece in a direction away from the first contact pin. When the door is manually moved in a closing direction to a slightly open given position, an exposed end of the second contact pin contacts and pushes the conducting piece toward the first contact pin against the force of the biasing means and finally brings the conducting piece into contact with the first contact pin.

    • An automatic door operating system for a motor vehicle is shown. The system comprises a door closing device which includes an electric motor and a latch plate actuator. The system further includes a control device which, when a latch plate position detecting switch detects a half-latch condition of a latch plate of a door lock device, energizes the motor to run in one direction to turn the latch plate toward a full-latch position and which, when the latch plate position detecting switch detects a full-latch condition of the latch plate, energizes the motor to run in the other direction to turn the latch plate toward a releasing position and which, when a return recognition switch detects the latch plate actuator having returned to its rest position, stops the rotation of the motor in the other direction. The control device includes a control timer which energizes the motor to run in the other direction for a predetermined time from the time on which the control device is energized.
