    • This invention has one object to provide radiographic apparatus with a compensating filter that allows simple and accurate estimation of direct radiation to acquire a radioscopic image or a sectional image of excellent contrast. This invention includes a direct-ray attenuation-rate acquiring section for acquiring a direct-ray attenuation rate from a dose of direct radiation entering into a subject and a dose of direct radiation emitted from the subject. In this invention, a direct-ray attenuation rate is acquired on an assumption that a primary indirect-ray attenuation rate is equal to the direct-ray attenuation rate, the primary indirect-ray attenuation rate being a rate of decreasing a primary indirect-ray generated with the compensating filter that transmits the subject. Such configuration may achieve provision of X-ray apparatus that allows more simple acquisition of a fluoroscopic X-ray image or a sectional image without performing complicated calculations conventionally.

    • An authentication system giving little load for the user at the time of authentication and retaining high security is realized. A management part 107 of a server apparatus 106 memorizes a password of a character queue of a plurality of digits. A random number generating part 108 generates a random number for each digit of a password. A communication part 111 transmits a plurality of random numbers to a terminal apparatus 101. A calculation part 109 calculates an authentication value used for authentication, with using a random number and a sign of a password, for each digit of the password. In the terminal apparatus 101, a display part 102 displays a random number for each digit of the password, and an input part inputs an input numerical value in response to the random number, for each digit of the password. The input numerical value of each digit is transmitted to the server apparatus 106 through a communication part 105. A judging part 110 of the server apparatus 106 judges whether or not the authentication value coincides with the input numerical value, for each digit of the password, to perform the user authentication.

    • A push-pull welding wire feeder includes plural wire feeding units provided in a wire feeding passage extending from a welding wire magazine, in which a roll of welding wire is accommodated, via a wire guide tube to a welding torch. At least one of the wire feeding units includes a torque limiter provided in a driving transmission system thereof for transmitting a driving force from a driving source to the welding wire. Accordingly, the welding wire feeder can steadily convey the welding wire even at acceleration or deceleration while allowing the welding wire to be bent, thus contributing to favorable result of its welding operation.
