摘要： To bias an oligomerization reaction toward C 9 olefin production, C 5 olefins are split and fed to a C 4 olefin feed stream at a downstream location, so the C 4 olefins are in stoichiometric excess over the C 5 olefins. The result is greater oligomerization to C 9 olefins. C 9 olefins fed to an FCC unit have a carbon number divisible by three and thus produces a greater proportion of propylene.

摘要： A process for adsorbing HCl from a regeneration vent gas. The regeneration vent gas from a regeneration zone is cooled, and the cooled regeneration vent gas is passed to an adsorption zone that is spaced apart from the regeneration zone. A spent catalyst is passed from a reaction zone to the adsorption zone. HCl from the regeneration vent gas is adsorbed onto the spent catalyst in the adsorption zone to enrich the spent catalyst with HCl to provide HCl-rich spent catalyst and deplete HCl from the regeneration vent gas to provide HCl-lean regeneration vent gas. The HCl-lean regeneration vent gas is purged to atmosphere, and the HCl-rich spent catalyst is passed to a regeneration zone disengaging hopper.

摘要： Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for removing acid gas from sour gas are provided. In one example, an apparatus comprises an absorption zone. The absorption zone is configured for contacting the sour gas with an absorbent solvent that is at a first predetermined temperature of less than 0° to remove the acid gas and form a treated gas stream that includes entrained absorbent solvent. A heat exchanger or heater is configured to heat the treated gas stream to a second predetermined temperature of greater than 0° to form a partially heated treated gas stream. A water wash zone is configured for contacting the partially heated treated gas stream with water to remove the entrained absorbent solvent and form a solvent-depleted treated gas stream.

摘要： The process removes hydrogen sulfide from hydrotreated gas by TSA. Hydrogen sulfide adsorbs on the adsorbent while allowing hydrogen in the hydrotreated gas to pass the adsorbent to provide a desulfided hydrogen gas stream and a sulfided adsorbent. A regenerant gas stream can be contacted with the sulfided adsorbent at a swing temperature to desorb hydrogen sulfide from the adsorbent into the regenerant gas stream. The regenerant gas stream can then be recycled to a hydrotreating reactor for processing biorenewable feed to provide hydrogen sulfide to the reactor. The desulfided gas stream can be purified to remove impurities such as carbon oxides and recycled to the hydrotreating reactor and/or used as the regenerant gas stream.

摘要： The process produces a diesel stream from a biorenewable feedstock by hydrotreating to remove heteroatoms and saturate olefins. The recycle gas is recycled to the hydrotreating reactor without removing hydrogen sulfide, which is needed in the biorenewable feed to keep the hydrotreating catalyst active. A purification unit can be utilized on a purge gas stream to purify the gas and improve hydrogen concentration in the recycle gas when added to the recycle gas.
