    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current power cable abnormality detection device which can continuously monitor insulating coating of the direct current power cable, easily and surely detect the deterioration, inform a manager of the abnormality of the direct current power cable, and allows the manger to take a ground fault prevention measure for the direct current power cable.
      SOLUTION: The direct current power cable abnormality detection device detects the abnormality of the direct current power cable 1 which is equipped with an electric wire 2, the insulating coating 3 coating the electric wire 2, a conductive part 4 disposed at the periphery of the insulating coating 3. The direct current power cable abnormality detection device is equipped with a resistance part 12 connected between the conductive part 4 and the ground, a voltage detector 13 detecting the voltage generated in the resistance part 12, and a signal output part 16 outputting the abnormal signal when the output voltage of the voltage detector 13 is not less than the set level previously set.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching section device capable of excellently reducing the charges of a capacitor and reducing an installation space.
      SOLUTION: The switching section device comprises a capacitor 11 with one end thereof connected to a middle section 1, a reactor 12 with one end thereof connected to the other end of the capacitor 11 and the other end thereof connected to a rail 7 or the ground electric potential, a first resistor 13 connected to the reactor 12 in parallel, a transformer 14 with one end of a primary winding connected to one end of the capacitor 11, and a second resistor 15 with one end thereof connected to the other end of the primary winding and the other end thereof connected to the capacitor 11. The accumulated charges of the capacitor 11 do not load the first resistor 13 because a closed circuit is constituted of the capacitor 11, the primary winding of the transformer 14 and the second resistor 15, and the charges are rapidly decreased through the second resistor 15. In addition, a voltage measurement instrument is connected to the secondary side of the transformer 14 to measure the voltage of the middle section 1 as necessary.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC feeding circuit protection device capable of protecting a device from cloud-to-ground discharge and high resistance ground fault by a simple configuration.
      SOLUTION: A first lead 1 connected to a metallic body such as a bridge and an electric-car line support beam and a second lead 2 connected to a rail side are provided. First and second discharge tubes 3, 4 are connected between the both leads 1, 2, and a capacitor 8 is connected between the first and second leads 1, 2. A trigger means for declining an electric potential between the both discharge tubes 3, 4 when terminal voltage of the capacitor 8 reaches predetermined voltage is provided. Moreover, a surge absorbing means 15 is provided between the first lead 1 and an earth.
