    • Embodiments herein relate to a method in a user equipment (10) for enabling positioning of the user equipment (10) in a radio communications network. The user equipment (10) is served in a first cell controlled by a radio network node (12), which user equipment (10) knows or can obtain a system frame number of at least one cell, and a positioning node (15) and the radio network node (12) are comprised in the radio communications network. The user equipment (10) receives, from the positioning node (15), a message comprising positioning assistance data, which positioning assistance data comprises information associated with the at least one cell for which the system frame number is known or can be obtained by the user equipment (10). The user equipment (10) also performs a positioning measurement using the positioning assistance data and the system frame number of the at least one cell to enable positioning of the user equipment (10).

    • The present solution relates to a method in a user equipment (110) for providing navigation signals to a navigator device (104) for use in determining the location of the navigator device. The user equipment (110) selects a plurality of satellites whose signals are to be emulated. After determining the position of the user equipment (110), the user equipment (110) translates the determined position to emulating navigation signals using a parameter derived from each of the respective selected satellites. The user equipment (110) transmits, to the navigator device (104), the emulated navigation signals. The emulated navigation signals enable the navigator device to determine the location of the navigator device (104).

    • Methods and devices are provided wherein a user equipment transmits using at least two uplink transmit antennas and receives a set of control signals in the downlink direction from a cellular network. The user equipment estimates a received signal quality for each control signal in said set of control signals and determines, based on said received signal quality, which control signals that have been reliably received. The user equipment derives one or more parameters related to the uplink transmit diversity operation using a subset of control signals from the set of control signals, said subset only including control signals determined as reliably received; and transmits in the uplink direction applying the derived one or more parameters to control the uplink transmit diversity operation. The accuracy of the transmit diversity parameter values derived/set by the UE can be improved. This will enhance the performance of the uplink transmit diversity and will also reduce interference to the neighbor cells.
