    • The present invention relates to a data processing apparatus and a data processing method which can improve the tolerance to errors of data.     • The present technology relates to a data readout device, a data readout method, and a program capable of preventing occurrence of a period in which no data is output. In circumstances where data is accumulated and the accumulated data is readout, the data cannot be readout and an underflow occurs if a situation occurs in which an error occurs in accumulating the data and the data cannot be accumulated. Readout is controlled using information included in data to prevent a continuous underflow despite the occurrence of an error has stopped after the underflow occurred. The accumulated data, information of which has been signaled, is started to read out at a timing specified by the information signaled in the data. The present technology is applicable to a reception device that receives a DVB-T2 signal in theM-PLP system.
