摘要： A digital camera includes a mirror box having a lens mount to which a photographing lens is mounted; an image pick-up device having an imaging surface for capturing an object image which is focused on the imaging surface through the photographing lens; and a frame positioned inside the digital camera body, the mirror box and the image pick-up device being mounted to the frame. The mirror box is mounted to a surface of the frame. The image pick-up device is mounted to the surface of the frame via at least one support member positioned between the mirror box and the image pick-up device. A ratio of a distance from the lens mount to the frame and a length of the support member is substantially equal to a ratio of a linear expansion coefficient of the support member and a linear expansion coefficient of the mirror box.

An internal member of the camera body to which the reference plate is fixed is made of a material which is higher in strength and has a lower specific heat capacity than aluminum and resin. The reference plate is made of a material which is greater in strength than aluminum and resin, a surface of the reference plate including a coating having a higher degree of thermal conductivity than aluminum so that heat produced by the image sensor package is transferred to the internal member via the coating.

The separate damping elements or the plurality of legs are snugly fitted into the radial grooves of the gear member. The oscillation damping member may also include two adjacent gear members that are superimposed, so as to create a phase difference between the teeth, and coupled through a damping plate. The damping plate is elastically deformable such that the adjacent gears may rotate relative to each other.

The head cleaning device includes a cleaning disk for wiping the read/write head, and a jacket for storing the cleaning disk therein. The jacket has an opening for allowing the cleaning disk to contact the read/write head therethrough. The head cleaning device also has a mechanism for drivingly connecting the spindle of the data storage unit to the cleaning disk. The mechanism comprises a planetary gear mechanism having an eccentric sun gear disposed on a hub rotatably supported in the jacket, a ring gear coupled to the cleaning disk, a plurality of planet gears each meshing with the sun gear and the ring gear, and a member for preventing the planet gears from revolving around the sun gear. During operation, the cleaning disk rotates and wobbles radially while slidably contacting the read/write head so that the read/write head is wiped by the cleaning disk in a wide region thereof in varying directions.
