    • The invention relates to a system for managing access to electronic paid contents that are located within one or more web-sites, which comprises: (a) an access agent which is installed within each site, for: (a.l) receiving any request by a user to access a paid content item within the site; (a.2) transferring information relating to said request to an access manager within a broker server; (a.3) receiving from said access manager a positive response indication or a negative response indication regarding a permission for the user to access said requested paid content; and (a.4) allowing or denying access of the user to said requested content, based on said response indication by said access manager; (b) a broker server which comprises: (b.l) site tariff and conditions for each site that are provided respectively by each site owner, said site tariff and conditions details at least the price of each paid item, and the URL of said paid item within the site; (b.2) user prepayment that are provided by each user; (b.3) user restrictions that are defined respectively by each user; and (b.4) an access manager for (b.4.1) receiving from an access agent said information relating to a corresponding user request to access a paid content item; (b.4.2) having said information, performing a verification procedure against a respective site tariff and conditions, respective user restrictions, and respective user pre-payment, issuing a positive response indication or a negative response indication regarding the permission for the user to access said requested paid content, and conveying said indication to the respective access agent; and (b.4.3) upon issuing a positive response indication, deducting the respective item price from said user pre-payment, and adding said item price to a respective site account.
