摘要： A support control unit 2 for determining a traveling condition of a host vehicle during an exit from a main road to an access road determines whether or not the condition of the host vehicle at a given point in time corresponds to an exit start scene or an exit completion scene for detecting the start of an exit or completion of the exit on the basis of a host vehicle position, route data 6a, map rendering data 6b, or lane information 7a including at least road surface marking positions, and determines that an exit start timing or an exit completion timing of the host vehicle has arrived when the condition is determined to correspond to the exit start scene or the exit completion scene. Hence, during the exit from the main road to the access road, the traveling condition of the host vehicle can be determined accurately. The support control unit 2 also determines the traveling condition of the host vehicle during convergence with the main road from the access road.

摘要： An object is to take measures to reduce engine exhaust gas of an externally chargeable electric/hybrid vehicle. An externally chargeable electric/hybrid vehicle comprises a battery for supplying electrical power to the motor, a generator that charges the battery with electrical power generated by the driving force of the engine, and an external charging unit that supplies electrical power from an external power supply device to the battery to charge the battery, and the vehicle travels in either an EV mode or an HV mode. The vehicle further comprises a charged amount measuring unit for measuring externally charged electrical energy supplied from the external charging unit to the battery, and a travel mode determination unit for determining in which driving mode of the EV mode or the HV mode the vehicle travels, based on the externally charged electrical energy. The vehicle travels in a travel mode according to the result determined by the travel mode determination unit.

摘要： A navigation apparatus for use in a hybrid vehicle in which an engine and a drive motor are used in combination acquires a current SOC value of a battery, geometry of roads around the vehicle, gradient information, traffic information, learning information, and so forth. A travelable range of the vehicle after the battery is charged is calculated for each of a plurality of various charge times on the basis of the acquired information. The plurality of calculated travelable ranges is simultaneously displayed on a liquid crystal display. It is thus possible to display a minimum charge time required to travel to a destination in a manner easily understandable to a user.
