Then the U-shaped member 25 is pressed to be opened slightly, and thus each pinion can be assembled on the part 27 to be put apiece between figure wheels provided previously on the part 26.

The optical fiber cord 1 put in through the inserting hole 22 of the rubber hood 2 is led to the guide hole 73 by the guide 75 and drawn outside. With the optical fiber cord 1 inserted through each inserting hole 31, 43 of a ring 3 and a caulking ring 4, a prescribed cord connecting operation is performed for the optical fiber cord 1. Then, the fixture 7 is detached from the rubber hood 2 and also removed from the optical fiber cord 1 through the notch.
