摘要： PURPOSE: To make it possible to efficiently perform dust collection, by a method wherein a dust collecting chamber is divided into a charging chamber and a cellecting chamber and voltage is intermittently applied to particles in the collecting chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A dust collector main body 11 consists of a charging chamber 12 and dust collecting chambers 13, 14 and dust-containing gas is passed through a rectification plate provided in the vicinity of a gas inlet 11a to be introduced into the charging chamber 12 while dispersed so as to uniformize the gas flow speed in the charging chamber 12 and the collecting chambers 13, 14. Voltage application is continuously performed with respect to particles in the dust- containing gas between the dust collecting electrode 12a and the discharge electrode 12b in the charging chamber 12 by a charging apparatus. At this time, corona discharge is carried out and a apart of particles are collected by the dust collecting electrode 12a in the charging chamber 12 to be fallen and stored in a hopper 12c. The other particles are guided to the collecting chambers, 13, 14.
