    • A filter assembly (10) for a standpipe (14) having an opening (20) for the introduction of filtered fluid into the standpipe includes a filter (12). The filter (12) has a filter element (18) in fluid communication with the opening (20). The filter (12) is configured to seal fluid from the opening (20) except fluid flowing through the filter element (18). A valve assembly (42) is biased by a spring (46) against a first surface of the filter (12), and the valve assembly has a seal (58) on a surface facing the standpipe (14). As the filter (12) is displaced, the valve assembly (42) displaces along the standpipe (14) under bias of the spring (46) until the seal (58) of the valve assembly seals the opening (20).

A first inlet port (113) may be connected to a first volute that is formed in the turbine housing (109), and a second inlet port (114) connected to a second volute that is formed in the turbine housing (109). A center housing may be connected to the turbine housing (109), and a compressor (111) may be connected to the center housing. An exhaust gas valve (137) is in fluid communication with the first inlet port (113) and arranged to at least partially constrict a flow of exhaust gas from entering the first inlet port (113) of the turbine (109), but not constrict the flow of exhaust gas from entering the second inlet port (114).

    • A fuel system for a diesel engine may have a fuel tank, a fuel pump, a fuel filter module, and a fuel rail. The fuel filter module has a vacuum side and a pressure side. The vacuum side is connected to the fuel tank and to the inlet side of the fuel pump. The pressure side is connected to the outlet side of the fuel pump and to the fuel rail. The fuel filter module has a pressure regulator and a filter element in the pressure side. The pressure regulator is disposed between the outlet side of the fuel pump and the filter element. The pressure regulator recirculates unfiltered fuel to the vacuum side of the fuel filter module.
