    • A lithographic printing plate precursor is disclosed, comprising a water-resistant support having provided thereon an image-receiving layer, wherein the image-receiving layer comprises anatase-type titanium oxide grains and a binder resin comprising a complex composed of an organometallic polymer and an organic polymer containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of an amido bond, a urethane bond, a ureido bond and a hydroxy group, the surface of the image-receiving layer has a contact angle with water of at least 25 degrees and the contact angle with water thereof is reduced to 15 degrees or below when it is irradiated with ultraviolet light, and further, a method for preparing the lithographic printing plate precursor and a method for preparing a lithographic printing plate by using the lithographic printing plate precursor are disclosed.

    • A method for preparation of an electrophotographic printing plate which can provide a printing plate excellent in image qualities of plate-making and printing, and continuously produce such printing plates in a stable manner for a long period of time and which is suitable for a scanning exposure system using a laser beam. The method comprises forming a toner image by an electrophotographic process on a peelable transfer layer of an electrophotographic light-sensitive material which comprises an electrophotographic light-sensitive element a surface of which has releasability and the peelable transfer layer provided on the surface thereof which contains a thermoplastic resin capable of being removed upon a chemical reaction treatment, thermally transferring the toner image together with the transfer layer onto a support for a lithographic printing plate and removing the thermoplastic resin upon a treatment, for example, with an aqueous alkaline solution, whereby a printing plate is obtained.

    • An electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor having a photoconductive layer containing resin (A) having a weight average molecular weight of from 1.times.10.sup.3 to 2.times.10.sup.4 and containing a polymer component of the specified repeating unit and a polymer component having a polar group and dispersed resin grain (L) which is obtained by dispersion polymerization of monomer (C) containing a functional group capable of forming a carboxy group upon decomposition in the presence of a dispersion stabilizing resin soluble in a non-aqueous solvent and which has a silicon and/or fluorine atom-containing substituent.The electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor has good electrophotographic characteristics and water retentivity due to the suitable interaction between zinc oxide, a spectral sensitizing dye, the resin (A) and the dispersed resin grain (L) and provides a printing plater having excellent printing image and good printing durability even under severe conditions. Also, it is advantageously employed in the scanning exposure system using a semiconductor laser beam.
