摘要： This invention aims to enhance a production efficiency of an automobile provided with an antilock brake system. A united assembly of an electronic unit 6 and a junction block 7 is detachably mounted on a side face of a hydraulic power unit 5 which controls a pressure of brake fluid. The junction block 7 is provided with a set of terminal 74A connected to solenoids and the like of the hydraulic power unit 5, a set of terminals 74B connected directly or indirectly to a battery 21, a set of terminals 74C and 74D connected to relays 9 and 10, and a set of terminals 74E connected to a circuit of the electronic unit 6. These sets of terminals 74A to 74E are connected through bus bars 74, respectively. It is possible to reduce the number of wire harnesses extending between an engine compartment and a car interior and to realize various kinds of lay-out in the engine compartment.

摘要： An antilock brake system is constructed in such a manner that a housing (61) of an electronic unit (6) is connected integrally to a housing of a hydraulic unit main body (5) for controlling brake fluid pressure, and an upper housing (71) of a junction block (7) is connected to the housing (61) of the electronic unit (6). An electric wiring section for the electronic unit (6) is constituted by bus bars (75) incorporated in the junction block (7). In the event that the antilock brake system is installed on a vehicle the number of wiring harnesses extending between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment can be reduced. In addition, the number of components that are mounted on the vehicle can also be reduced, thereby making it possible to reduce the man hours required for manufacture.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to securely prevent collision with terminals at the time of connecting a connector. Collision preventing projections 50 are provided on an outer circumferential surface of a female housing 20. When a main portion 21 of the female housing 20 is inserted into a receptacle 11 of a male housing 10 while taking such a posture oblique to a proper connecting posture, thereby coming into contact with an opening of the receptacle 11 to hinder a connecting operation, the collision preventing projections 50 are located at the outer side of the opening of the receptacle 11 without entering this opening. When the main portion 21 is forcibly pushed into the receptacle 11 in this state to bring the collision preventing projections 50 into contact with the opening edge of the receptacle 11, the main portion 21 and male terminals 12 are spaced apart.

摘要： When operating a shield connector, if a metal terminal is inserted into a proper position, the metal terminal is prevented by a first withdrawal prevention device from withdrawal. When a housing and a shield cover are connected together, the metal terminal is further prevented by a second withdrawal prevention device from withdrawal. If the metal terminal is not inserted into the proper position, a resilient retaining pawl of the second withdrawal prevention device engages an engagement portion of the metal terminal to be prevented from resilient deformation when the housing and the shield cover are to be connected together. As a result, the shield cover engages an engagement projection of the resilient retaining pawl, so that the housing and the shield cover cannot be connected together.

The lever is selectively mounted on the housing in a reversible manner upon coupling between the pairs of support axles and bearing holes.
