    • The present invention relates to a remote control method and system. The remote control method using a control user interface of a remote user interface client according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: receiving, in the remote user interface client, a service request message from a remote device; transmitting, in the remote user interface client, a request message of a control user interface associated with the requested service to a remote user interface server, after receiving the service request message from the remote device; receiving, in the remote user interface client, a control user interface that corresponds to the request message of the control user interface from the remote user interface server; and transmitting, in the remote user interface client, the received control user interface to the remote device. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a user can easily control a corresponding remote user interface through a control user interface that is specialized for a screen being played by the remote user interface.
