摘要： A method for verifying tolerance of a connector molding die includes, firstly, providing a first connector molding die, and molding a first optical connector using the first connector molding die. The centers of the lenses relative to the center of the first transmission surface are located. A second connector molding die is provided. A second optical connector is molded by the second connector molding die. The central locations of the first blind holes are determined by measuring the central locations of the second blind holes based on the center of the second transmission surface. Difference values between the locations of the centers of the lenses and the central locations of the first blind holes are determined.

The mold includes an upper molding portion, a lower molding portion, a first insert, a number of second inserts and a fixing portion. The first insert includes a number of curved molding portions and a flat molding portion. The upper molding portion, the lower molding portion, the first insert and the fixing portion cooperatively define a molding space. A distal end of each second insert is inserted into the molding space. The first insert is moveable relative to the second insert such that the curved molding portions or the flat molding portion is selectively exposed in the molding space and is opposite to the distal ends of the second inserts.

摘要： A socket and a plug are provided. Both the socket and the plug include a body, a blocking sheet, and an elastic member. Both the bodies define a coupling portion. The blocking sheet is disposed on the corresponding body and covers the corresponding coupling portion to protect the coupling portions from being contaminated when not used. The elastic member connects the corresponding body and the blocking sheet. When the plug is plugged into the socket, the blocking sheets, against an elastic force of the elastic member, pushes each other to expose the coupling portions until the coupling portions are coupled.
