    • PURPOSE:To improve classifying efficiency by providing a classifying casing successively to an upper casing via a discharge pipe, providing a cyclone to the outside of the classifying casing and providing a tapered dashboard to the outside circumference of the rear surface of an upper diffusion plate. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials 25 charged from a raw material charge port 24 enter the top of a lower diffusion plate 17 and are splashed in the outside circumferential direction by the centrifugal force thereof. The greater part of the raw materials move along the rear surface of the upper diffusion plate 16 and collide against the dashboard 19, by which the dispersion thereof is intensified and the materials are adequately loosened. The raw materials 25 simultaneously receive the two forces of the diametrical directions; the outward centrifugal force and the inward air resistance in the radical direction. The particle diameter at which these two forces balance each other is determined as a classification point and the particles below the classification point are entrained in the circulating air flow generated by classifying vanes 18 and are fed into a classifying chamber 20 of the upper casing 11. The grains are then supplied through a discharge pipe 31 for a dusty gas to the cyclone 2 where the fine grains in the air flow are recovered. The air flow from which the fine grains are separated is then returned to the lower casing 12 and is used as the classifying air flow.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the precision of classification by forming a classification chamber on the periphery of a rotary vane below a material inlet, providing a diffusion plate opposed to the material inlet to the rotary vane, and fixing a collision plate arranged at a distance from the periphery of the diffusion plate to the diffusion plate. CONSTITUTION:The rotary vane 18 is provided below the material inlet 14, and the classification chamber 24 is formed on the periphery of the rotary vane 18. An air inlet 12 is allowed to communicate with a fine powder discharge port 13 through the classification chamber 24. The diffusion plate 21 opposed to the material inlet 14 is provided to the rotary vane 18, the collision plate 23 is arranged at a distance from the periphery of the diffusion plate 21, and the collision plate 23 is fixed to the diffusion plate 21. As a result, the collison plate 23 and diffusion plate 21 are rotated at the same angular velocity. Consequently, even if particulate matter collides with the collision plate, the particulate matter is sufficiently diffused, dropped into the classification chamber, and joined to a classifying air current. Accordingly, the particulate matter dropped into the classification chamber is immediately and sufficiently classified, and the precision of classification can be remarkably improved.
