    • In an arrangement structure for a door wire harness, the door wire harness is arranged in a door of a vehicle body and is spanned in a space between the door and the vehicle body inside a vehicle room beyond a weather strip. The door wire harness is drawn out of a space between a door inner panel and a door trim at a door side and is fixed on the door at a wire harness drawing-out position. A door side fixing position of the door wire harness is shifted from a vehicle body side fixing position of the door wire harness in a vertical direction. A spanning section of the door wire harness between the door side fixing position and the vehicle body side fixing position is sheathed by a grommet having a flexible bellows-like tube portion and made of rubber or resin. The spanning section of the door wire harness is bent in an S-shaped configuration in a space between opposed surfaces of the door and the vehicle body when the door is closed. The door wire harness is changed from the S-shaped configuration to a straight line configuration when the door is opened.

    • A protector includes a main body and a cover, which are a pair of T-shaped semi-annular sections formed by halving a T-shaped cylindrical body, and thin hinges connecting the main body and the cover. A setting jig is provided with a main body receiver including a main body receiving recess as an upper surface opening having a cross-sectionally arcuate shape and with a pressing wall projecting upward from one side end of the main body receiving recess. The cover of the protector in an open state is hooked and placed on the pressing wall; the main body is positioned and set above the main body receiving recess; and the T-shaped branch section of the wire harness is inserted into the main body and set into the main body receiving recess. Thereby, the cover is pressed by the pressing wall to rotate toward the main body; and locking hooks provided on the main body engage with locked portions provided on the cover, thus locking and closing the main body and the cover.

    • The grommet having a longitudinal axis includes a funnel shaped portion having a flared end, a narrowed end and a conical wall with external and internal conical faces. The external conical face includes an external circular groove having a groove base. The grommet further includes a tubular portion extending outwardly from a circular joint section formed at the narrowed end of the funnel shaped portion.     • A sealing grommet is provided that includes a grommet body with a sealant reservoir and a sealant drain portion. The grommet body has an outer peripheral wall, a panel engagement recess formed on the outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral wall, and an inner peripheral wall extending inwardly of the outer peripheral wall and defining a wire harness insertion aperture inwardly thereof. The sealant reservoir is provided between the inner and outer peripheral walls, and is configured to temporarily store a sealant therein. The sealant drain portion is provided on the inner peripheral wall, and is configured to open upon deformation of the grommet body, thereby permitting the sealant to drain into the wire harness insertion aperture from the reservoir. With the above construction, the sealant can easily permeate between wires of the wire harness provided within the wire harness insertion aperture. Additionally, because the need for a sealant injection nozzle can be eliminated, a waterproof sealing operation can easily be carried out, even if the size of the sealing grommet is small.

    • A wire harness routing structural part reduces the number of components for routing a wire harness within a door. The wire harness routing structural part includes a wire harness incorporating a main path wire and a different path wire, a portion of the wire harness being fixated to a body, and a protector placed on an interior of the door. The protector includes an accommodation part and a different path guide portion, the accommodation part having an extraction opening for extracting the wire harness to the interior of the door and accommodating the wire harness with a space enabling the wire harness to be redirected. The different path guide part guides the different path wire of the wire harness extracted through the extraction opening on a path different from that of the main path wire of the wire harness and following an outer surface of the accommodation part.
