    • PURPOSE:To secure safety without any interference with a crane by providing an approach detecting sensor for the lifter of a crane in the upper part of a skid, automatically locking an advance to the skid by its signal, and releasing automatic locking after a release of the signal. CONSTITUTION:A coil conveying carriage is composed of a master carriage 1 and a slave carriage 6, and travels on a rail 2 in the width direction of a warehouse. Plural skids 3 for unloading a coil are arranged in the respective warehouses. The slave carriage 6, on which a coil 4 is mounted, travels while being clamped on the master carriage 1. A running command is given from a running controlling system on the basis of inventory information of the target skid. A diffuse reflection type photoelectric tube sensor 7 is used for detecting the approach of a coil lifter of a crane 5 in the upper part of each of skids 3, and an advance of the coil conveying carriage to the skid is locked on the basis of the signal of the senor 7, and the lock is released after the signal is released. As the detecting sensor is arranged, any interference with a crane on the skid is prevented, and consequently, safety is secured.

CONSTITUTION:By a carrying truck 1 on he entrance side, a coil skin 2 is carried by a walking beam 3 on the entrance side, and an outer peripheral paper is wound on a coil by an outer peripheral part-winding device 4. Then, the paper is folded by a paper folding machine 5, and the coil is packed with a film by a film packing machine 6. The coil is continuously carried by a conveyor 7 to a vertical binding machine 8 and lateral binding machine 10, and a vertical binding and lateral binding are respectively performed. After a metal support is put on the outer periphery by an outer peripheral metal support-forming machine 9, the coil is carried to the outside by a carrying truck 12 on the exit side by a walking beam 11 on the exit side. Instead of a conventional lifting up method, the coil is carried by a truck method, an inner peripheral and outer peripheral papers are fitted, and is packed by a vinyl resin, etc., after the papers are folded, and a label is attached after the putting of a metal support and binding, to complete the packing.

CONSTITUTION:A first movable supporting table 3 is lowered with respect to a wound coil C which has been cut and wound up to the end thereof to bring a snubber roll 4 into contact with the coil C, thereby pressing said end of the coil C. When the end comes to a location spaced a predetermined distance from a bonding roll 17, a pushing roll 6 is pressed against the coil C by means of a cylinder 9 and at the same time a bonding tape 13 is applied onto the coil C by means of the roll 17 to start taping. When the tape 13 is put into a state wherein the tape 13 is pressed by the roll 6 by the rotation of the coil C, a movable guide roll 15 moves in a direction such that the tension of the pape 13 increases, so that the tension of the tape increases and hence the slackness of the tape 13 is removed.

The object to be packaged continuously comes into contact with an upper end edge folding device 14, and an upper end edge 10 is folded and held by an upper end edge holding device 27. The object to be packaged, for which the paper end of a lower end edge is starched by a starching device 15, is carried to a lower end edge folding device 30, and an edge folding work is performed there.

    • PURPOSE:To perform automatically the cutting of inner/outer peripheral plates which are used when a metal coil is packed by a method wherein a plurality of material coils are selected, an inner peripheral plate and a plurality of single plates are but by cutting as a plate by the width of a coil to be packed, and at the same time, an outer peripheral plate is obtained by joining respective single plates. CONSTITUTION:In packing a metal coil, a single plate which is cut as a plate by a coil inner peripheral length from a material coil which has the width of the coil to be packed, is provided in the inner hole of the coil as an inner peripheral plate. In the meantime, an outer periphery plate is cut as a plate in response to the dimension of the outer diameter of the coil. In this case, a material coil 2, which has a coil width being equivalent to the inner peripheral of the inner hole of the coil to be packed, is selected, and the material coil is cut as a plate by the width of the coil to be packed to cut the inner peripheral plate. In the meantime, the outer peripheral is obtained by the outer diameter of the same coil to be packed to select a material coil 2, and a plurality of single plates 3-1-3-3 are cut by cutting as a plate by the width of the coil. Then, respective single plates 3-1-3-3 are joined by spot- welding, etc., to obtain the outer peripheral plate. By this method, cutting of inner/outer peripheral plates can be automatically performed.

Under that condition, the roll 11 is rotated, and an inner peripheral plate is adjusted to the inner diameter of the coil, and then, the inner peripheral ring 2 is pushed in the inner diameter of the coil by advancing a running truck 3. Thus, the inner peripheral ring 2 is placed on a guide with taper l9, and centering of the inner peripheral ring 2 and the inner diameter of the coil is corrected, and the inner peripheral ring 2 is fitted on without interfering a coil 1.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible to wind up an outlet peripheral paper without trouble even when the paper has the cohesive part of a tape on the outer periphery, and also make possible a strong application of a tape after the completion of packaging by a method wherein a winding-up of a packaging paper is started by drawing the paper end of an outer peripheral paper by vacuum by swelling or shrinking a buffer chamber which communicates with an air suction/removal system, and a winding-up of a second layer of the paper is performed under a shrinking condition of the buffer chamber. CONSTITUTION:A groove 32, which is provided in the axial direction of a roll 30, is covered by a rubber film 33 to form a buffer chamber 34, and fine holes 40, 41 are bored on the bottom part of the groove 32 and the rubber film 33. A winding-up of an outer peripheral paper 35 is performed while an adhesive tape 36 has an adhesive part 37 on the end part of the outer peripheral paper 35. When pressure in the roll 30 is reduced, the buffer chamber 34 shrinks, and under this condition, the paper 35 equipped with the tape 36 is drawn by suction. At this time, the cohesive part 37 is drawn by suction in the groove with a space and does not come into contact with the outer peripheral paper to be a second layer, and the roll winds up the paper by the self rotation. In order to place the outer peripheral paper 35 on a metal coil C, the roll 30 is revolved around the coil while rotating on its own axis. After winding the paper up to the rear end, the pressure in the roll is increased, and the buffer chamber 34 is made to swell to press down the tape 36.
