摘要： A liquid crystal display device has a pair of substrates, at least one of the substrates being transparent; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the pair of substrates; and pixel electrodes and common electrodes and active elements arranged on at least one substrate between the pair of substrates, wherein a pair of alignment layers are made of an organic polymer of polyamic acid group of polyamide ester group having a relative imidization ration above 60%; or at least one layer of an insulation film is interposed between the alignment layer in a side of the substrate having the group of electrodes formed thereon, and the pixel electrode and the common electrode disposed under the alignment layer to prevent occurrence of the sticking image and the after image by flattening the electrode portions to moderate the electric field concentration.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a moving picture displayable liquid crystal display device capable of attaining satisfactory moving picture characteristics, color reproducibility and reliability at the same time. A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention comprises a white light source having a blue phosphor, a green phosphor, and a red phosphor and having a light-on state and a light-off state in a single frame; and a liquid crystal display panel which controls an amount of transmitted light from the white light source for each pixel, and which has a color filter for allowing one of blue light, green light, and red light to be transmitted therethrough for each pixel, in which at least one type of the blue color phosphor, green color phosphor, and red color phosphor is a phosphor mixture composed of at least two phosphors having different host material composition, and phosphors having a luminescence center of the same element are used for the phosphor mixture of the same color.
